DOOM — How to play

The original 1993 game, running as a from-scratch JavaScript engine on the game's own WAD data. All menus are the real ones — press Esc and pick NEW GAME.

• WASD / ←→ — move & turn (Shift to run)
• Mouse — turn (click the view to capture), Click / Ctrl — fire
• Space / E — open doors, use switches
• 1–7 — weapons, Tab — automap, P — pause
• Esc — menu (save/load, options, quit)

Saves are full mid-level snapshots in your browser — monsters, doors and lifts resume exactly where they were. +/- toggles the fullscreen view.
